A birb! A birb is on my easel now. Actually it is a beautiful blue heron that was wading in the lake near my home one evening not too long after I moved here. It was serenely wading, looking for food, and its beauty had to be captured on canvas. The painting is a work in progress, getting close to completion. The fun part is almost here when I get to whisk the beautiful long feathers on as the finishing touch. The dog says hurry up, Mom, it's dinner time!
